chocolate inspired

So, while sorting through some clothes to donate to good will..well truthfully I haven’t been much of a give-away-girl these days as I have developed a dirty little ebay habit (more reflection on this later). So anyways, yesterday I was digging underneath my bed through old stuff and came across this issue of gourmet magazine that I had stowed away from last January. Perhaps one of the most beautiful displays of chocolate I have ever seen. Of course I kept this one! Had to laugh at myself a bit thinking how most people hide their porn stashes under their beds, But Cait just dirty pictures of chocolate cake. err….

So inspired, I set off on a mission. Between tables last night I finagled long and hard to get the cooks to “accidentally” mess up a slice of chocolate-windmill-2layer-flourless-ganache-cake. Sweet success~ This morning I creeped out of my bed, put my chocolate cake on the very prettiest of plates, grabbed coffee, & a fork, then tip-toed right back to my bed, got under my covers, found my “dirty chocolate cake” magazine, and read & ate my little heart out. Think I might do it again tomorrow, and maybe the day after that too.

Out of hibernation– Fall is the new Spring.

Shall we throw a little “coming-back-out” party?  We shall. 

I haven’t blogged in ages. Mostly because all ”TOO MUCH” to say & absolutely ”NOTHING AT ALL” to say were engaged in an all out nasty cat fight for the past 9 months.  Complete with: name calling, biting, hair pulling, crying, and all that is ugly. Usually these type of cat-fight affairs take place after school at peanut park, but because of the lengthy stamina of this engagement “TOO MUCH” & “NOTHING AT ALL”  decided it would be best to relocate to my head. Thankfully the great peace maker “JUST ENOUGH” broke up the fight a  few weeks ago and so now here we are on this very pretty new page!!
